Their exciting initiative, “Residency by Adidas,” is a global artist residency program set to launch during Korea Blockchain Week. This innovative project will shine a spotlight on talented artists from around the world.
The debut NFT sale will feature stunning digital artworks by MonkeeMoto and Adra Kandil, offering both limited edition and open edition Ethereum NFTs. The primary aim of this initiative is to not only support but also elevate digital creative talent. Artists will have the chance to collaborate with Adidas not only in the digital realm but also on physical products.
This marks an impressive milestone for Adidas /// Studio (aka Three Stripes Studio), showcasing their commitment to the Web3 community. Building upon their prior NFT endeavors, including connected apparel and NFT artwork releases at significant events, the “Residency by Adidas” program takes things to the next level.
The limited edition NFT drops, priced at $250 each, will be available exclusively to attendees of the Seoul event and will come with an exclusive physical hoodie—an enticing collectible combination. Meanwhile, the open edition NFT drops, priced at $50 each, will be accessible to everyone and will have no purchase limits.

The NFT drops are scheduled from September 6 to September 11, with even more exciting releases on the horizon. This initiative runs parallel to Adidas’ ongoing ALTS Ethereum NFT venture, further showcasing its commitment to innovation and creativity. Notably, Adidas’ recent collaboration with BAPE resulted in limited edition sneakers with digital twins, illustrating their prowess in merging the digital and physical realms.
