DegenKnows, a new non-fungible token (NFT) analytics, tracking, and exploration tool with on- and off-chain statistics, has been released by the Web3 browser Opera. Its new tool intends to make it easier for users to traverse NFT projects and have access to social media community information.
DegenKnows is designed to give users access to off-chain data from social media sources like Twitter and Discord in addition to regular on-chain data analysis of transactions and other individual transactions. Users can view the official accounts and major thought leaders for the project’s Twitter feeds in more detail. The platform evaluates the team behind each NFT initiative, taking into account their overall number of 24-hour mentions, social media followers, and actual fans.
DegenKnows asserts that its “Smart Filter” feature enables customers to exclude projects that wash trade, airdrop, transfer, or are fraudulent.
This most recent product takes advantage of the recent non-fungible token boom, which has seen recent examples such as Reddit NFT, which generates $2.5 million in daily trade volume, and a new NFT collection, Art Gobblers, which has seen a trading volume of 9,660 ETH (more than $15 million) since minting on Monday night, per data from OpenSea.
According to a press statement from Susie Batt, who oversees Opera’s crypto ecosystem, DegenKnows is a cutting-edge tool that will allow users to explore and comprehend the world of NFTs and perhaps predict the next major project before others.
According to a press release, DegenKnows premium access is provided without charge to all Opera browser users, while non-Opera users can take advantage of a brief trial that will last until the end of 2022.
After providing in-browser crypto wallet support to scalable blockchain Elrond in September, Opera’s Crypto Browser has now integrated the Near Protocol and Fantom blockchains in conjunction with the release of DegenKnows.
