Binance is closing its mining pool along with Cloud Mining, Pool Savings and Transaction Accelerator. Services stop on 10 November at 07:00 UTC, and the pool pages go offline for good on 24 November.
Binance announced the closures on 13 October, describing the move as part of a review of its product lineup. It didn’t give a more specific reason.
What is closing
Four products shut down at 07:00 UTC on 10 November:
- Binance Pool: the mining pool where miners combine hashrate and share rewards
- Pool Savings: the yield product tied to the pool
- Cloud Mining: which let users buy hashrate on Binance and earn rewards without owning mining hardware
- Transaction Accelerator: a tool for speeding up stuck Bitcoin transactions
Several supporting services switch off at the same time, including Telegram hashrate alerts, email notifications, the mining pool API, and the Stratum URLs and endpoints that mining machines connect to.
After the cutoff, Binance won’t accept or credit any hashrate submissions or mining shares. No new rewards or yield will accrue.
What miners and users need to do
Binance has asked users to act before 10 November:
- Miners should point their machines to another pool before the deadline. Hashrate sent after 07:00 UTC earns nothing.
- Pool Savings users should redeem or unsubscribe from active positions.
- Users with pending identity checks should clear them by 23:59 UTC on 10 November, according to The Crypto Times.
- All users can view their records until 24 November.
Work submitted before the cutoff still counts toward a final payout. Outstanding rewards and refunds will be processed under each product’s terms, subject to account status and compliance checks. Payouts are not automatic for everyone.
Binance said: “The Binance Pool pages will remain accessible for 14 days, until 2026-11-24 07:00 (UTC) for viewing of historical data.”
After that date, pool pages and payout history become permanently inaccessible, so users may want to export what they need.
Other recent changes
The shutdown follows a separate change for Brazil. On 9 October, The Crypto Times reported that Binance would block Brazilian users from Binance Pool and seven other products from 27 October.
Binance isn’t the only operator closing a pool this year. SBI Crypto shut its Bitcoin mining pool on 31 July 2026 after about 5 years, and pointed customers to Braiins, Luxor and NeoPool.
Where Binance is expanding
The closures come as Binance adds products linked to traditional finance and AI-based trading tools.
In September 2026, Binance announced physically settled options on more than 1,000 US-listed stocks and ETFs through Nest Trading, its broker-dealer regulated in Abu Dhabi Global Market. The Block reports that volume on Binance’s TradFi perpetual contracts reached $433.4B in August, up from $29.5B in January.
On 12 October, Binance rolled out an AI trading interface to English-language users worldwide, after a beta with about 150,000 users.
Binance hasn’t said whether the mining shutdown is connected to these launches.
