Accumulating Ethereum is now peaking with whales and corporate companies heavily investing in ETH to make it a primary treasury reserve asset.
Companies like Sharplink Gaming, Bitmine Immersion, GameSquare Holdings, The Ether Machine, and BitDigital, with several others, have continued to scoop up ETH to cement their position in the Web3 landscape.
According to Coingecko, 3,233,793 ETH are collectively held by 11 Ethereum Treasury Companies, and the value of holdings is $13,944,327,929, with an increase of 8.1% in the past 24 hours.
Earlier on Tuesday, it was reported that Yunfeng Financial, a company with ties to Jack Ma, has acquired 10,000 ETH. The is listed in Hong Kong as one of the most progressive regions for crypto and digital assets.
As per Coinglass, over the past 24 hours, total ETH liquidation is $69.51 million, with around $41.93 million in long and $27.58 million, and yet in the past 12 hours $16.05 million with $7.05 million and $9 million.
The largest single liquidation order happened on HTX- ETH- USDT, valued at $1.71 million, in the past 24 hours in the wider market, 109,306 traders were liquidated; the total liquidation came in at $246.89 million.
Awakened whales are now flipping towards Ethereum
Blockchain analysis firms in the last few weeks have crossed several massive transactions which some of which involved direct buying of ETH, whales flipping from BTC to Ether, and shorting or placing bets on long after the bullish cycle of ETH.
Most recently, Lookonchain wrote in its X post that whale ‘0x3e38’ has deposited 7,500 ETH to Binance, and the same address is reported withdrawn 15,202 Ether from July 02 to August 12.
The press time balance of the wallet is 12.402k ETH valued at $53.65 million, with a profit of nearly $6.8 million.
On the other hand, whale ‘0xed8ef’ has deposited 3.25 million USDC into Hyperliquid and then shorted ETH with a leverage of 25x.
Around 7 hours ago, Lookonchain flagged that an unknown entity withdrew 5,100 ETH from OKX from the wallet ‘0x3e64’, and in the last 5 days, the same entity has withdrawn 42,681 Ether from OKX via three wallets.
On September 02, 2025, whale ‘0xF4Bd’ just deposited 2,585 ETH into Binance, making a profit of $5.33 million. Until writing, the address has a balance of $11,183,979.59, holding 2.585k Ether, 37 BUSD, 1.17 LINK, 1k MTV, and 19 RDAC.
Since August 20, 2025, the Bitcoin OG has sold 35,991 BTC and bought 886,371 ETH at a 0.0406 rate on Hyperliquid; he still holds 49,634 BTC worth $5.43 billion in four different wallets.
SharpLink Gaming was reported to have bought $176.4 million of ETH on September 02, 2025. As of now, it holds $3.6 billion worth of Ethereum.
