Web3 leader Animoca Brands Japan, San FranTokyo by KLKTN, and Cool Cats Group LLC have collaborated to accelerate the Cool Cats’ (NFT) expansion into the Japanese and anime market. This partnership goes beyond business growth, focusing on cultural exchange and tapping into Japan’s digital and artistic appeal.
Animoca Brand Japan’s enthusiasm for Cool Cats IP growth
In this collaboration, Animoca Brand Japan and San FranTokyo are excited to make this collaboration more impactful for Cool Cats IP to grow. However, Daisuke Iwase, CEO of Animoca Brands Japan, sees it as an opportunity to create more avenues for the Cool Cats brand to flourish.
The partnership highlights the global recognition and potential of Cool Cats, with strategic initiatives on the horizon:
- Cool Cats Manga: Exploring Japanese culture, the trio plans to produce a Cool Cats manga, merging the world of Cool Cats with Japan’s storied manga tradition. This one-shot or “yomikiri” will be crafted by a Japanese manga artist, offering fans a unique and beautiful experience.
- Collection Acquisition: San FranTokyo has acquired a selection of Cool Cats, Shadow Wolves, and SideKX NFTs for its treasury. These additions will be crucial in expanding Cool Cats’ main characters and ensuring that new stories stay true to the source IP.
- Brand Expansion: Animoca Brands Japan and San FranTokyo will concentrate on growing the Cool Cats brand in Japan, forging relationships with prominent entertainment and IP organizations. This includes traditional merchandising, licensing opportunities, collaborations with other officially licensed IPs, and the creation of Vtuber content featuring Cool Cats.
- Integration with San FranTokyo: Exciting plans are underway to weave the Cool Cats IP narrative into San FranTokyo. This will involve interactive efigurine drops, aligning marketing efforts with iconic Japanese IPs, and more, offering fans immersive experiences.
