2) New York Times highlights the pay discrimination at Coinbase.

4) A crypto user lost $50K by mistake and got donation worth $11K.
Github user ‘dawidkabani13’ sent 4,005 Chainlink (LINK) of roughly $50K to an immutable Aavegotchi (GHST) smart contract on the Ethereum blockchain. He instantly realized that it didn’t support operations for the token. To this Aavegotchi created a donation page to help Dawid. The project’s co-founder – Jesse Johnson had tweeted that $11,000 in tokens on Christmas Day from more than 200 deposits were sent to the crypto user. Jesse Johnson also said

5) SEC’s case against Ripple will have a pretrial in February 2021.
The U.S. District Court of the Southern District of New York will have pretrial of the lawsuit filed by the Securities and Exchange Commission against Ripple Labs on February 22, 2021. As per the court document, there will be a telephonic pretrial conference and both the parties have to submit a joint letter a week earlier stating a brief description of the case, including the factual and legal basis for the claim(s) and defense(s), any contemplated motions and the prospect for settlement. Ripple claims that the token is a currency, not a security, and it will ultimately prevail against the Commission.
