The subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited, Jio Platform Ltd. has entered a strategic alliance with Polygon Labs, for its Web3 and blockchain debut in India.
Following the alliance, it is argued that some known products owned by Jio will be adding Web3 capabilities to the product to help the telecommunication giant to offer a more convenient environment and services to its 450 million users.

After the alliance of Jio and Polygon Labs, it is widely argued that crypto adoption in the nation might grow to new heights, it is worth noting that the published report by Chainalysis in the last quarter of 2024 highlights that India is the only nation that has topped the cryptocurrency adoption list for the second consecutive year.
Polygon (Matic) token price registered a 4.70 percent growth in the past 24 hours, trading at $0.4724 at the same time the trading volume was at $7.64 million with a surge of 51.34 percent and market capitalization added 4.74 percent now at $903.71 million.
