South Korea-based crypto investment firm Hashed has secured regulatory approval for its Abu Dhabi unit, marking a significant step in its global expansion strategy.
The firm announced that its subsidiary, Hashed Global Management Limited (HGML), has obtained a Financial Services Permission (FSP) from the Financial Services Regulatory Authority operating under Abu Dhabi Global Market.
The FSP license allows HGML to carry out a range of regulated financial activities within ADGM’s jurisdiction. These include investment advisory, credit advisory, arranging deals in investments, and managing assets and collective investment funds.
The approval positions Hashed to operate within a well-regulated financial ecosystem in the United Arab Emirates.
The move reflects Hashed’s growing focus on the Middle East as a strategic market for digital assets and blockchain innovation.
Abu Dhabi, through ADGM, has emerged as a prominent hub for crypto and fintech firms seeking regulatory clarity and institutional-grade infrastructure.
By obtaining the license, Hashed aims to strengthen its presence in the region and expand its services to institutional and high-net-worth clients.
HGML will serve as Hashed’s primary base for operations across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
The firm is expected to leverage ADGM’s progressive regulatory framework to launch new investment products and partnerships tailored to the evolving digital asset landscape.
This development also highlights the increasing appeal of the UAE as a destination for global crypto firms amid tightening regulations in other jurisdictions.
With the FSP in place, Hashed joins a growing list of international players establishing a foothold in Abu Dhabi’s financial ecosystem.
As regulatory clarity continues to shape the future of the crypto industry, Hashed’s expansion into ADGM signals confidence in the region’s long-term growth and its role in the global digital asset market.
