Solana-based memecoin, Fartcoin, is once again in the spotlight as it most recently crossed the milestone of $1 in the past 24 hours, and when writing it was exchanging hands at $1.05 with an addition of 15.99%.
According to data from CoinMarketCap, FARTCOIN now has a market capitalization of $1.05 billion which is up by 16.41% and the volume skyrocketed 91.5% reaching $351.94 million.

The transfer value was recorded at $455.54 million on April 18, 2025 and total number of token transfers was 517,074, and the transfer value on April 15 was $485.64 million, and on April 16 the transfer value was $564.67 million.

Back to back spike in the trading price of Fartcoin has sparked speculations that it will soon surpass its all time high of $2.61 recorded on January 20, 2025.
As per available datasets, Fartcoin has lowest traded at $0.3567 in monthly time frame, yet its highest recorded trading price in the same frame is $1.08.
It is crucial to note 2.4857% of total Fartcoin are held by Gate(dot)io, Kraken has 22,690,337 FARTCOINS and Bitget holds 1.15% of the supply.
The memecoin market is eyeing a powerful bounce back
In 2024, several bogus and bad tokens entered the memecoin category, which pulled the growing popularity below, resulting in fading interest and investment from the traditional sector.
