Over the last 24 hours, the total liquidation in the crypto market has reached $214.06 million, with 100,546 traders liquidated. The charge has been led by Ethereum, with an overall liquidation of $67.27 million, of which $45.04 million of longs have been liquidated and $22.23 million of shorts.
In the same time frame, the largest single liquidation occurred on Binance Pump/USDT valued $1.90 million. Bitcoin liquidation hit $30.19 million with $21.48 million in shorts and only $9.43 million in longs.
From the overall $214.14 million liquidation, $121.54 million of longs has been liquidated, and only $92.60 million of shorts.
Memecoins liquidation peaking at new heights
The memecoin market has outperformed and grown by more than 8% in the past 30 days, reaching $77.11 billion. Yet with this bullishness, the liquidation in the memecoin category has continued to peak, hitting fresh highs.
Dogecoin’s overall liquidation in the past 24 hours has topped $10 million, with $5.84 million longs liquidated and $4.49 million shorts. Pump token marked a liquidation of $6.71 million with $3.19 million in long and $3.52 million in short.
However, Pepe’s $1.05 million in longs and $548.40k in shorts have been liquidated in the last 24 hours; at the same time, Pudgy Penguins recorded a $361.65k long liquidation and $151.36k in shorts.
Shiba Inu saw liquidation of $149.87k long in 24 hours and only $24.68k shorts; however, the long liquidation of Dogwifhat in the same frame is $583.26k, and $937.41k shorts have been liquidated.
Binance is leading the liquidation charge, followed by Bybit
Over the last 24 hours, total liquidation on Binance was $76.05 million, followed by $67.49 million on Bybit and $27.03 million on Gate.
Yet the major liquidation of Ether has been recorded on Bybit with $23.17 million, followed by Gate with $14.18 million, Binance reported $13.95 million liquidation of Ethereum, and HTX saw $8.45 million.
Doge’s major liquidation has been recorded on Bybit at $3.18 million, followed by OKX at $2.68 million and Binance at $2.33 million. Pump token major liquidation has been recorded on Binance, mimicked by OKX, Gate, CoinEx, Hyperliquid, and HTX.
Bybit tops in Bitcoin liquidation with a total $12.37 million, followed by Binance at $7.88 million, Gate at $3.28 million, and OKX at $3.24 million.
