In yesterday’s Ask Me Anything (AMA) sessions with Charles Hoskinson the creator of Cardano, he didn’t hold back in expressing his frustration with the XRP community stating that they are propagating false narratives and never willing to engage in any constructive dialogue.
Cardano founder’s take on XRP
Hoskinson pointed out how reluctant XRP community is to find peace and understand each other. “There is no desire for peace there,” Hoskinson said, stressing on community’s refusal to acknowledge different perspectives.
Most of the time, Hoskinson insisted on evidence-based discussion between him and XRP community. “You’ve got nothing, zero evidence people bribed the US government into attacking you” he said pointing out that it was a call for them to make their claims concrete.
In addition, he pleaded Ripple leaders Brad Garlinghouse and David Schwartz to come forward publicly to deny these accusations. “I would really like Brad and David Schwartz just come out and say physically all this attack on our side is a lie,” Hoskinson argued, bringing out the issue at stake right away.
On the #ETHGate debacle, Hoskinson said that his words were misconstrued by others. “I never claimed there was no #ETHGate. I said it does not matter,” he explained, emphasizing its irrelevance to XRP’s legal battles. He also dismissed baseless conspiracy theories about the SEC’s actions against XRP.
How is XRP doing recently?
Hoskinson also pointed out that there has been a significant resistance level for XRP that impedes upward momentum. This resistance, which is sitting on three key technical indicators such as the 100 EMA,50 EMA and 200 EMA turned out to be a very strong obstacle for XRP price movements.
Convergence of these indicators results in a tight band of resistance that caps prices, making further highs difficult to achieve. Hoskinson identified this as a major decision point for XRP where breaking above the resistance would indicate strength while continuously rejecting it could solidify the level.
Moreover, There hasn’t been any meaningful trading volume around XRP’s approach to this resistance suggesting lack of buyers’ conviction. A weak volume such as this can foreshadow a price decline thereby further complicating the trajectory of XRP’s cost. From a technical standpoint, the resistance zone between $0.58 to $0.60 is of particular interest, representing a crucial battleground for XRP’s price action. XRP is currently trading at $0.5646, up 0.83% over the past day.
