According to the X post of Satoshi Club dated February 26, 2025 notes that ARK Invest, headed by Cathie Wood, has bought 41,032 shares of Coinbase, a known crypto exchange.
The website Cathiesark(dot) com notes that the ARK ETFs hold stock of Robinhood, Tesla, Shopify, Square, Amazon, Pinterest, John Deere, Rocket Labs, Spotify Technology and Reddit.
Is Coinbase stock heading towards the red zone?
According to the data from TradingView, the Coinbase stock has been trading at $212.96, with a loss of 19.87% in a week and more than 25% in the monthly frame.
It is worth noting that COIN share has recently fallen below 20, 50, 100, and 200 days exponential moving average, yet its prices saw a decline of 29.68%.
Experts speculate that the annual price target of COIN stock is $334.45, Coinbase has a market capitalization of $54.07 billion, which fell 18.72% in 2025.
If the prices of Coinbase stock continue to fall in the near session the nearest visible support is $211.06, and the next support of $201. On the other hand, COIN’s nearest resistance is $308, $324 and $350.
Coinbase Inc. has reported a 106.55% surge in EPS in Q4 2024, which was expected to be $2.26, the reported revenue of the company was $2.27 billion, and the estimated revenue for Q1 2025 is $2.19 billion.
Bitcoin’s falling prices create opportunities for long-term investors
The ongoing bearish movement in the BTC prices has helped long-term investors pile BTC at lower prices to gain massive profits during peak times.
Earlier on February 25, 2025, Todayq reported that Metaplanet, a Japanese company, bought 135 Bitcoins for 14,360,449 yen per coin, after this acquisition, the company now holds 2,235 BTC.
The company has announced its plan to boost its BTC investment in the coming year with an aim to bring total holding to 10k by 2025 end and around 21k by 2026.
Market experts argue that the companies dedicated to investing in Bitcoin have seen a staggering growth in their stock prices, mirroring the growing interest of traditional investors in cryptocurrency currencies.
Strategy (earlier MicroStrategy), chaired by M. Saylor, holds the highest Bitcoin among all institutional investors, 444,262 Bitcoins, followed by Marathon Digital holding 26,842 BTC, Galaxy Digital Holdings has 15,449 Bitcoins, and Tesla of Elon Musk has 11,509 Bitcoins.
With each day, Bitcoin has continued to make its dominance and relevance in the wider market with recently crossing the mark of $109k, registering a fresh all-time high.
